Beautiful shading and colors - makes me think of summer picnics and the yummy BBQ food those events have. Great job Ava!

I put a print of this up in my kitties' bathroom - it added to my ocean side theme where the dolphins are on the shower curtain, and many other art pieces that remind me of the sea. Well done Ava - I love this piece!

Adorable little chick outside the birdhouse and love how the drawing captures a number of houses, like a neighborhood of birds. The flowers, weeds, and clouds are a nice touch. The wood stump for the foundation of the house is beautiful. Another terrific work of art - well done!

What a beautiful pot/bowl design. I would love to have this put on an actual pot. It reminds me of the ancient Egyptians. Well done Ava!

What a cute drawing - looks like a cuddly fox. The green and blue contrasts for the grass and sky are nicely done, and the flowers bring in added beauty to this work of art. Well done Ava - look forward to seeing more!

Great use of shapes and colors - beautiful face for the sun. It looks like great care was given to choosing different patterns for each section surrounding the sun. Another wonderful piece by a wonderful niece!

Dear Ava, What a lovely portrait of floppy flowers with flowing lines and magnificent colors. Your use of shading is brilliantly pleasing to the eye. Here's to the changing of the seasons and the appreciation of the many flowers we see! Love, Aunt Deanna

Very expressive picture - reminds me of that subtle taste you get when catching a snowflake on the tongue. Nice job! Aunt Deanna

Love the vibrant use of color and different styles of patterning throughout. Although I am unsure of the artist's intention with capturing the essence of feelings, it appears that Bobbie is a friendly monster but saddened somehow. His frown and drooping ears demonstrate his sadness, and since nobody else is apparent in the picture he seems to express loneliness. Wonderful job Ava!
