This drawing makes me think of ancient Greek amphorae, except yours is a little fancier because it has two bulbs on the body of the vessel. What makes me really like it, besides your new and improved shape that allows it to hold more stuff, is that you updated it by using modern symbols like the heart and the silly face. The other decorations are more traditional, so that unites this piece to the past across the ages.

This is a lovely piece Audrey! The colors are nicely coordinated and I like they way you used the spiral motif and the scribbled motif in the background and the foreground. Now you have 3 words to look up: Motif, Background (the way it's used in art) and Foreground. I'll ask what they are and what parts of this fabulous artwork those words apply to next time we see each other. Keep making art; you're very good at it!

This very sophisticated dog is filled with interesting details that make him look even more distinguished. The texture on his nose and in the background make me notice Mr Tophat even more. So do the stripes on the top of his nose. I find that your color choices make a lot of sense, not just in this drawing but in others too.

This drawing makes me feel good. It's very inspiring to see a girl who has climbed to the mountain top so she could be with the clouds. The fingers are a nice detail!

This reminds me of all the stained glass windows I saw on the many old churches in Paris. I wonder what you used to draw this - crayon, charcoal? Well done!

Audrey, I LOVE this piece! The design is lovely and the colors are quite beautiful. Symmetrical designs like this are very soothing and restful because of the balance they offer the viewer. This is a perfect example! Well done! I can't wait to see what you make next, Chris

I really like your self-portrait Audrey! You probably inherited your drawing talent from your Great Grandpa! He was amazing!

Audrey, is this a self-portrait? She has your eyes. I think she looks like you with a bow in your hair! Lovely!
