Bailey!! just recently one of my great nieces married..and the tables at the dinner were decorated with flower sculptures like this in lots of shapes and colors...all over the tables. It was lovely...and so are your pretty flowers!! What a wonderful way to make pretty things! I am so impressed with all the things you do in art, and how well you do them!! Keep up the good work!!

Bailey, my husband and I once lived near a lighthouse in Rhode Island. Often when the pea-soup fog (so thick it is almost impossible to see through it) rolled in ,the light from the lighthouse would sweep through the fog and the little water drops in the fog would magnify the light. When I saw your picture, I was reminded of this..and on a clear night, it would look much like your picture! Nice job- and thanks for the memory!

Bailey, I can just imagine the sunlight coming through this piece of stained glass! It is beautiful! It would take an extremely talented artisan to make this with all of the tiny pieces of glass! But ti would glow in the light! Did you know that your Grandmother Linda learned how to do stained glass when your Mom was small? I have a couple of pieces that she did in my window!

At first I thought of a sea anemone moving in the water, then I realized that someone's hair is blowing in the breeze- maybe they are jumping on a trampoline and it is following their trajectory...perhaps it is a cheerleader...whatever, you have captured hair in flight!! Good job!

Bailey, the sun over the road is almost blinding, but it turns the road into a ribbon of sunlight..it reminds me of a poem THE HIGHWAYMAN which says"the road was a ribbon of moonlight over the purple moor, and the highwayman came riding, riding riding up to the old inn door." You have captured that ribbon of sunlight! I am pleased that you are learning how to compose a picture and use a camera- those are skills you will enjoy for a lifetime!!

Love the picture of shoes,Bailey! Reminds me so my son Bill who wore two mismatched tennis shoes all through University!! one high top and one low top...and here you captured that same spirit! Our granddaughter, Bethany, has continued the tradition- her shoes or socks rarely match! You have an eye for the unusual and your photographs are clear and capture a moment in time. Keep up the good work! I enjoy what you are doing in art class!!

Bailey, I am glad to see that your good artwork has continued in 7th grade!! Working in ceramics takes another kind of talent! Did you like feeling the clay with your hands as you formed the mug?
