Hi Evan, your elements of art were very nice, but grandpa and I weren’t too sure what they were. We’re not up on a lot of the different things used in sports. I myself thought that what you created had to do with wrestling. I did like your colors used. You are very artistic and we’re very proud of you and love you. Keep up the great work. Grandma and Papa

This is interesting - haven't seen this before. Would like to know what the assignment was about. Good work, Evan!

Evan, this is a very interesting work - would like to discuss it with you when I see you. Still think you should consider graphic design or something in the art field. Love you bunches!

Evan - I didn't realize that you were doing art work this year - very interesting work on your current sports interest - I can "see" you in your artistry. Neat idea. Love you - Aunt Joan

Evan, loved your graffiti art work. Did a great job on your name. Loved the way you did it. The wrestlers were good too! Keep up the great work. Love you, Grandma and Papa

Evan, your classical living room just about consisted of everything you would see in a living room. You have your walls, flooring, lighting, sofa, coffee table, tv, and even a fireplace to make everything to seem cozy. Very nicely done! But, where is my candy dish that you raid for the almonds? Lol!

Interesting work, Evan. Looks as though you covered everything needed for a comfy living room. Have loved your art work - will miss seeing it on Artsonia next year. Hope you will continue to to art work on your own at home - develop your skills beyond what you've learned thus far. Love from me..................

Evan, I really liked your arms and hands and the shading of them. It is a very unique drawing showing a connection between people. It is an interesting drawing. We’re very proud of you and glad you have such a talent for drawing. Wish you could have kept it up next year. Love you.

Evan - I would agree - I don't like spiders either. Especially the bigger, all black ones I see occasionally in the house. I think your spider looks quite real. Hope you received a good grade on it. Love you . .
-- Aunt Joan

Evan, Grandpa and I were amazed how authentic your spider looked. You did a wonderful job on this. The shading was really nice. The coloring on it looked just like a tarantula. Great job. You are so artistic! We’re proud of you on how well you’re doing in art. Love you.

Evan, I love your eye and the buildings seen through the looking eye. Really nice portrayal that “the eyes are the windows to the soul”. Great job in the shading as well. You are talented and I hope you know that you do have a unique ability. Love you.

Evan - the man portrait is quite good! It really looks like a real person. Keep up the good work. Since you keep commenting on shading problems - perhaps practice at home on something you enjoy drawing. Love you . . .

Good idea for the recycle project. The arrows are really good but they could have been the same size as far as pointing to one another. The can could have had a ridge on the top of it. I do like the shading. Keep up the great work. You have a special talent that by keeping at it could lead to something special as you get older. Love you.

Evan, what a unique idea to draw half man and half animal. It’s a really good drawing. The eye of the bull could have been a little more distinct, a little darker with outlining of the eye. I think the horn would look better being a little more pointed. It is a good drawing, Evan. Great job! Love you.

Evan, honey, I have to agree with you that this does not look at all like you. You are so much more handsome than your portrait. Your shading is pretty good but your face is not that fat. It is hard to look in the mirror and draw yourself. It was a good try.

I missed this one. And I have to admit that I don't know who this is supposed to be. But the cartoon aspect of it is quite good. Love you

You're right, Evan. This doesn't look anything like you. You're much more handsome!! But I appreciate your effort. Would be interested If you try it again and really study your reflection in the mirror. Love you

Very decorative rooster, Evan! I was wondering if you did this after seeing a photo or if you did it from one that you created in your memory. Either way, I think it's well done! Your use of colored pencils is really improving. Love you...

What a splendid job, Evan! I particularly enjoyed how you used the icons to spell your name. It really shows that the game of baseball is really influencing you in many ways. Hope you get on a great team this year - can't wait to attend some of your games! Love from me...............
