What an interesting piece, Drew! I just want to hold it and turn it all around to be able to see all sides. So, I can't wait to see it in person so you can tell me about it. At first, I thought it was a spider on the top. I do love the colors you chose! I do love your school's art program!

What an interesting picture, Andrew! I see the curvature of the Earth or a planet and many objects in the darkness of space. I see stars and even a shooting star, space rocks, a rocket and lunar lander, the moon and even another planet! Are those aliens that have landed? I'll bet there is quite a story that would go with your picture! And, the textures you added add so much more to your drawing! Love it, Andrew!

I know you also learned a lot about colors as you made your color wheel. Byron has an exemplary art program for its students. Just love it and I love seeing all the art you are enjoying. This looks just like Amolite, a beautiful mineral used to make jewelry, found only in western Canada. Awesome job, Andrew!

Oh my, how I love this project, Andrew! First of all, I am so impressed that your projects have a lesson in history or science and even math, in using hexagonal designs and symmetry. You have an awesome art program in Byron! It must be so much fun to create the projects that you have made. Secondly, I really love your use of "jewel" colors. Your project reminds me of a kaleidoscope, a favorite toy when I was a child. Keep enjoying art! I sure enjoy seeing your creations!

Grandpa Gary and I love the picture you painted! It's so very colorful! It reminds me of paintings by Picasso, who is a very famous artist. We are so glad that you enjoy art and are excited to see more of your art projects this year. Such fun for us to be in your "Fan Club"! Grandma Kate

I like the design of your artwork Andrew and the colors. The blue circle looks like a pumkin face. The other blue part looks like a bat wing to me. I must be thinking of Halloween.
