I find the black background with white designs more interesting than the central textured rectangle. For some reason, the colors and textured shapes do not appeal to me...like someone was ill. ...sorry.

reminds me of "Lost", with airplane crash artifacts.. What's the story?

what are they building? Or maybe this is a diversion of the river to make Hoover Dam...

Amazing what exquisite designs your initials make with your arranging them so cleverly and colorfully! It took me a while to see the "K". It is a perfect star of David! Love this!

The art work is on a flat surface but it does go deep...eyes are drawn to the center not only by the lines but the circles! Nice work!

Totally modern...Egyptian straight-cut half-bleached hair....American quilting...drugged, pin-point pupil... Babylon today...disconnected from reality...or not! Great contemporary art!

Beautiful "advanced shading"...your work stands out and the shading gives it depth and background! Very nice skill that you can use in other drawings!

This reminds me of the famous artist, Grandma Moses. She put a lot of things into her pictures of early American village and country scenes. Love the colors and content, the "fresh air" pre- American feeling!

Beautiful colors! I see a smiling face at the top! Wouldn't this be pretty printed on fabric for a dress or skirt?! I like this!

Pretty amazing animals, cutie. I love the details, and how realistic they are. Did you look at pictures while you drew?

Hands are tricky. You did pretty well. Better than I probably could. Those fingers on "k" are a bit broken, though ;)

How wonderful that you learned how to make a basket! This gives an appreciation for all those people that make these regularly. I enjoy the simple colors in this!

Oil pastels are not easy to work with, but they are so dynamic. I love the bright colors you used on this, and how you kept the lines so clean. Looks yummy!

Love, love, love this. I love how beautifully you did the fur on the main cat, and that it stands out just right. The black background really sets it apart. Well done!

This looks like a fun, relaxing project with the different designs in each section, all colored differently.

You know how to do this?!!! This looks great, and you could really create cool gifts for people. I love how you showed the direction of the fur on the wolf and the geometric design around the edges. I love that the tip of the tail looks like a torch. Well done.

Beautiful, Kaitlyn! Batik is an art that has long been practiced in Asia. I have Batik table cloths from when I was a child and some more modern as well. I hope you continue to develop this skill. Love you!

This could be a sign for your door. We could find a way to make it more permanent, too... done in wood or metal?? Could be tough, I guess... Anyway, I like it.

Beautiful study in lines! This kitty is all ears!...listening. Sweet face!....a little sad, perhaps frightened. Feet also are significant...ready to run? Wrapped in white....bandages?...has she been injured?
