I like this picture drawn from the perspective of the child who missed the bus. The stop sign denotes an internal dialogue in which we see the artist's subconscious self telling him to "stop" missing the bus. Here we only see the first two letters of the word "stop". This could be a clue that missing the bus was only partly the artist's fault. He is partly blaming his parents for the tardiness. Very deep and very moving. I think we can all identify on some level with the pain and embarrasssment of missing the bus and the angst of childhood. -- Jake
