Kaylee, you've made an intriguing piece of art: a dark cityscape in black-and-white on one half and a mysterious, spiky mountain night scene on the other. The colors are lovely in the mountains and sky, and the shading is good on both sides. I'm eager to find out what inspired this! Love, Grandma

Kaylee, you did a great job of drawing the face, eyes, neck, and hair. The eyes have a very mysterious expression. The combination of color with black and white is also interesting and mysterious.

Kaylee, that's very funny that scientists are working so hard on robot emotions -- and now the robot has mood swings! I hope all of those wall decorations are making the robot happy.

This is a nice, well-drawn snowman -- or snow woman? I like the happy expression and the shading on the sides of each object.

Kaylee, This is a wonderful art project that you did. Very creative and nicely done. Sorry that the baby didn't like the color and poked out the robots eye....but it has a nice patch...hah. Love Geepa.

Wow, Kaylee, you did an excellent job on Yertle! Some time you'll have to tell me about the special technique you used to draw him! Love, Grandma G

Very creative work Kaylee. I'm not surprised you selected Yoda to be your character.

This is a fun different way to show American Gothic, with a fork instead of a pitchfork! If you want to add to this picture, you could build the white house and special window to go behind it (since you are a good Lego builder).

It's interesting how each face is a little different, and the colors each create a mood. Very cool! I see that 2 faces are green -- that's my favorite color! Love, Grandma G

This is very cool! I like how the snow falls and the steam rises from the cocoa. And the heart on the mug looks like it's beating! Love, Grandma G

Kaylee, I like your bug flying through the flowers. Did you take the picture of the flowers? Did you make the bug zigzag up and down? That makes it look real! Love, Grandma

Kaylee, I like the green hearts and stars in your design. I bought some to be notecards so I can write letters to people. I also gave some as a present to Great-Grandma Woodcock. Maybe you will get one in the mail some time! Love, Grandma G

Kaylee, you did a fantastic job of drawing the Inspector's eyes, nose, mouth, and hair. She is very pretty! I also like the pretty decorations on her dress. I looked at all of the first grade Inspector pictures, and yours was my favorite. Love, Grandma G

Kaylee, I like seeing your Princess Anna monster in with the other Wild Things. She definitely looks sweeter than the other monsters -- and pretty in a monster kind of way! Good job! Love, Grandma

Kaylee, this does not look like a monster -- at least, not a scary monster! It looks like a beautiful girl with big eyes and dark hair like you -- except she's bright pink all over! Some time you can tell me how you made this picture. Good job! Love, Grandma G

Kaylee, I like your bright-colored bow! From far away, I can see the bright red and blue. But close up I can see you added lots of little pictures too! We are hoping to come and see your Kindergarten concert. Maybe we can see you wearing your bow then!

Kaylee, this is a great snowman! I love all your details: the stripes on the carrot, the buckle on the hat, and the fringe on the scarf!

Kaylee, I love this picture! Each pumpkin is so nice because it's a different color -- but the shape and the orange lines tell me it's a pumpkin. I like how you have one pumpkin in the foreground, one in the middle, and one in the background. But my favorite part is the bluish purple sky with the twirly wind lines! Love, Grandma G

Outstanding art work. I can really see that you did what your art teacher taught you to do with the pumpkin drawings. You are so good with painting.
