This is a water park made out of oil clay. We layed the clay over plastic lids. For this one I had to join 4 lids together, which is why it has that odd shape. The rest of it was just making different shapes of oil clay and assembling them. Thanks for asking! Love Sam.

It’s made of clay slabs that we cut, then assembled, bisque fired, then glazed, and glaze fired. It was a fun project. -Sam

Sam, I am intrigued by this work. Tell me more about it! It makes me think of a machine— perhaps a better mousetrap?

Hi Sam, I like this winter scene! It gives me a real feel for what it's like in Wisconsin. We don't have any snow yet in Washington, D.C. We don't have as many snow plows as you guys do, so sometimes snow removal is quite slow here! Hope you are doing well-- looking forward to seeing you soon!

Nice creation of depth with the driveways and background elements. One of your favorite subjects too.

This turned out great, Sam. The mixtures very successfully show the way the colors are related to each other. Another cool thing is how a color's complement is directly across the wheel --purple and yellow, red and green, blue and orange. Each color makes its complement look stronger/ brighter when they are close to each other. Cool huh?
