Ok - this is the craziest one yet - but it kind of reminds me of creatures in mythology - with the body of one animal, the head of another and the tail of another. Very cool!! Does he have a giraffe on his shoulder like a pirate would have a parrot on his?

Well Charlie - this is a pretty crazy work of art - but that's what surrealism is all about - right? I like that you have some mixed media going on in here too - drawing, markers, cut outs - really love that you cut out a ball and put it in the dog's mouth. Go Red Sox!

Hi Charlie: I think these are dragons (not exactly sure) BUT what i love is what a fantastic pattern they make when repeated. There is a wonderful artist named M. C Escher - you should look him up - who makes really interesting patterns with birds and lizards that look a lot like your very interesting design. Love

WOW Charlie!! This Pharaoh is amazing! Is it King Tut? The headdress with the cobra and the stripes is just perfect and you have such a great expression on his face. Did you learn that in Egypt during the pharaohs, they only did people's images from the side - profiles only - just like your amazing pharaoh!

Hi Charlie - I love these two giraffes and the blue sky - that is exactly what Opi and I saw in Africa. There were lots of baby giraffes with their mothers trying to reach the tall branches of the Acacia trees. They move so gracefully and majestically. You have captured their spirits in this beautiful painting. Love Mimi

Hey Charlie: I love this painting that combines language and drawing... I guess the letter is 'C' I see cats, cars, cows and a piano? That starts with P! Charlie - I love your Mondrian influenced work of art! Mondrian was such a ground breaker and during this period of time all kinds of people were influenced by his work - clothing designers, architects and musicians. So, while he was influenced by jazz he also influenced many other people with his ideas and designs. Try making other works of art at home while listening to music - it's interesting to see how the music makes you feel and how that gets expressed in your art. Keep up the good work! Love
