I would love to know what the title of this work is. It looks like a long piece of knitting but not the right shape for a sock or a scarf. The detail is wonderful but what is it? We can just enjoy the mystery and the color and imagine.

I love the bugs! They looks if they're having such a good time dancing around in a circle, and the one in the corner can't wait to join them. Are you the big bright conductor? I think so. Love, Grandma

I love the colors! And the fluid lines and unusual perspective are very interesting. Good work, as usual. Love, Grandma

This is a wonderful demonstration of perspective - a great assignment and a great illustration (pun intended) of the concept. Love, Grandma

I absolutely love this art work. I'm stunned by the direct gaze of the three girls. It's like their friendship helps them see clearly and navigate the complex outside world. I love the echo of the other eyes in the background--all those other points of view. I think this art work says a lot about the strength of friendship to center and ground our perspectives. This is fantastic, Elisabeth! I love the brightness of the images of your friends against the darker, complex background. Well done!

This is a wonderful way to learn to understand perspective. Making a work that demonstrates it so well is a pleasure for you, I hope, and certainly a pleasure for me. Love, Grandma

I'd love to hear an explanation of what this represents. It's a beautiful abstract piece - does it refer to anything specific? Love, grandma

How clever to show the abstract animal without its head - that's really abstract! Keep up the good work. Love, grandma

That is one cute chicken. It may remind you of the chickens your family has had and loved. Good work!

This is a very interesting work, and I'd love to know more about it. What is the medium used? Is it a drawing of an actual building or buildings? Is it completely abstract?

I love it! Very Keith Haring. I especially like the blue figure. Is she poking the green figure or tickling him? The brown figures look almost like Tweedy...

Wow! I love the way the coils on the base are so different from the coils on the upper part. I have made many coil pots before, but I never thought about making one like this. The design is very inventive!

I love the way the bird is looking over his shoulder. It's as if I've just made a slight noise and the bird swivels its head to look at me.

Wow! This is a great first still life! I am really amazed at the detail you have achieved and the sense of proportion. You are learning to connect your eye, brain, and hand. I am so excited about what you'll do as you train and learn!

What a cool and awesome monster! Three eyes! Red skin! But.... I really like her dress. That's something I would like to wear. Hmmmm what does that say about monsters. Maybe they can be scary and beautiful at the same time.

I love this girl! I told your Daddy I'd love to send a check to him and have them make me a mug with this on it, which you could keep at your house to be Grandma's mug when I visit. Ask him how much I need to send. Love, Grandma

I'd love to know what the word that inspired you was. You know I don't know a lot about ninjas, but I know your Daddy does. I like the picture even if I don't completely understand it. Love, Grandma

I love the addition of the animals around the central self portrait. It gives me a real sense of connection between the real physical world (i.e. the self portrait) and the imaginary world (i.e. the animal friends in the green frame area). This seems very expressive of what I know about the artist and her great imagination!

I love this art work. My favorite thing is the cat almost hidden in the blankets. I love how his stripes are similar to the way the night is colored. It's also really cool that the artist put more art work on the walls of the bedroom. It's pictures within pictures. Great idea. It really captivates the viewer.
