This piece is really fun. You must have had a great time with it. The background is very simple. It implies to me that it's only the foreground here that matters and that is where I should focus. It leads me to believe that was the intent. As i look closer I can see you were also focused on an idea. And the details show. This takes me to a new, exciting world where only the imagination is the limit. What a great piece! The colors here remind me of exoticism. This creature has adopted it well. It is interesting to me that the body of the beast is colored in sync with the simple background. The complex organism seems to be using its outstretched hairs and feet as a means to absorb the simple environment. This makes a powerful statement. It says that even exotic, alien-like beings, contrary to belif, only require the simplest of things to be content. I would love to see more work like this in the future! :) -- Shaun

This, no doubt, looks like a tree to me. I see animals and people in the tree, and it suggests to me that this is a family tree. The faces of all the people look happy and that speaks to me. It says the artist is at a happy place. The tree its self is complex in this illustration and denotes an equally complex mind . I see a couple names in the ground that seem to be a possible source of life for this complex growth. Compliments to the beautiful mind's eye and the artist who houses it. Beautiful! I LOVE how you integrated the plant life into this. Nice choice of color too I might add. Your background is seemingly very spacious despite the thin border. The dark color with hearts and stars gives me the feeling of flying through space. However, no matter how spacious and vast the world is, that space is filled with the things we love. I feel like I've just taken a journey chauffeured by your creativity. Thanks for sharing :) -- Uncle shaun
