Evan, I am so proud of you! I am blown away with all of your artwork . You are an amazing artist and I love what you've done with this painting of Michael Jordan. He would think this was an awesome painting too! Keep up the good work..

Evan: I've been going over all of them and see a lot of growth--great use of color. I particularly like the still-life work, but I think your Michael Jordan shows great energy.

These are great "spooky' pumpkins--I like the use of the pale colors instead of the usual orange--very good. PS I like your "tree' too

This is really cool Evan. I like how the background is all dark but the lines of the skull are white. It creates something like a photographic negative of your subject which works really well with your subject being white. I think your lines pop off the page more with this technique - I can see the teeth and edges of the skull very clearly. I'll have to go back to your comments to see how you did this.

I love the bold colors you used in this piece. I read that you also used your name in the composition so I liked looking for E-V-A-N :-) You mentioned you wished you used more warm colors but I really like the mix of warm and cooler bold colors you chose.

I read that you had to use different shades of one color in this piece. The color green is very calming and I really love how you were able to blend it in different ways creating a composition that is visually pleasing.

The symmetry in this piece is visually pleasing and I love the colors you chose. I read that this is an artist trading card - so cool! It must look even more intricate in person due to it's small size. I wish I had this ATC!

I knew Matisse must have been your inspiration for this piece. You have captured some of the artist's most interesting visual techniques. I love the way you used the stripes and bold colors too!

I love the use of collage in this piece Evan. It makes your subject really pop off the page and the red background adds even more visual interest. This painting makes me believe this football player is very powerful.

I really like the shadows that the pumpkins create on the background. The background also really concentrates on the important part of the piece, which eliminates distractions well. Overall this is a really good piece! Nice One Evan!

I really like this piece, although the background is not realistic, it gives it a great sense of concentration on the action of the piece. The trajectory of the ball also looks very realistic.
