Wow, this piece is very nice. I love the colors you used, they all match well together and they pop out at you at the same time. The yellow in the background reminds me of the bright hot sun. The blue on the bottom reminds me the nice cool water. I thnk it's great. Great job Spenser!

Hi Spenser, I didn't mean to take so long to comment on your painting, but I had to see it again to give you my honest opinion. First, the colors are fabulous. I really like the contrasting colors, the purple and reds with the yellow and dark blue in the vase, the red center on the green flower and that bright splash of red on top of the purple flower. A wonderful use of colors. I think the different layers in the vase is very unique. It's looks almost organic like it's growing with the flowers. The handle is exceptionally smooth and curved perfectly, how did you do it? I can see different techniques used. I see some leaves and some of the layers, you used a coloring in method. Another technique I see, you painted a shape and then put in details....very creative. I look forward to seeing your next work of art. Great job!
