dear arianna. love your latest work. you seem to have mastered many techniques to create a great work of art. Everything you do shows maturity in color, detail, shadow, & use of overall space.you choose interesting subjects & always put your personal touch of interpretation. I"m going to send a letter illustrating an art concept I learned in art school at Pratt institute a long time ago. I think you will find it interesting and may help to bring your art to a new level. I really like your self portrait. I think the detail in your hair braid is excellent, and I love the warm and welcoming "Hello" that you put on the shirt. It shows what you look like physically and also that you're friendly to people. -- Grandma

I'm looking at a mountain range with a storm brewing. This effect is hard to do but you have captured it perfectly. The dark and light areas are very artistically balanced. Great to look at. -- Grandpa
