Luke, I like how you gave character to Joseph and Mary's faces by adding eyes, and for Joseph, a mustache and beard. I also like how you swirled the colors in Joseph's mantle. Great work on your "Nativity Christmas Ornament"- I can't wait to see it in person!

Luke, I like the composition of elements you created in your "The Artist's Table" project. I am glad you know that we should thank Him for each day and the many blessings that He gives, and that you also know we can ask Him for help to accomplish the tasks set before us. You did a great job of conveying that the pencil is laid upon the pen. Great work, Luke!

Luke, I love the message you etched into the top of your "Jesus said I am the Bread of Life" project. Jesus does indeed live!! The pattern you created on the bread plate's edge reminds me of palm branches that we wave on Palm Sunday- Hosanna!

Luke, I like the wave pattern you created in your "Footsteps in the Warm Brown Sand". It reminds me of when we visit the beach and walk along the water's edge. In your picture, I can see the waves crashing in to the shore. More constant than the tides (high and low) is the presence of the Lord with those who love Him. The Lord is gracious and compassionate, and His love endures forever.

Luke, your "Map of Noah's Ark" details so many different varieties of animals. I can tell you spent a lot of time and effort in creating your map. It is hard to pick a favorite, but I like the bull moose and the elephant. Each animal has details that make it unique and distinct. It's amazing to think about the detail that God put into creating each animal. How much more precious are you to Him- He loves you beyond measure.

Luke, I am so excited that you did an art project with Ephesians 3:16-19 as the basis. His love for you is wide, and long, and high, and deep- you are highly valued and loved. May you grow in grace and wisdom in light of that knowledge. I love the colors and details you put in, even to including a worm that helps nourish the soil and a ladybug that eats pests that would feed off of the plants and damage them. May you use the Word of God in your life to both nourish and defend your mind and spirit.

Luke, I look forward to seeing your art! I noticed when we drew the apples on the cart( when we were in class) that you had a different point of view. In that drawing, you drew, with such beautiful detail, the whole wall behind the still life set up. With your "Tulips" you have it planted in a vase! I enjoy it so much that you do that!! So creative, wonderful!
