The "swish" is cool on this vase drawing! Good thinking to "modern up" a notch. :~} Nice!

I am into the color red. I never had a pottery class when I was in school. Looks like it is a bit time consuming, but, worth it with the great piece here. If it was for sale in a shop, I would buy this. Get your artistic juices going & keep learning more techniques. I love this site and seeing your works of art posted. Thank you so much.

This comic collection is very interesting. I can't make it out clearly, but, I believe you put a lot of work into your characters and the spacing, to fit them all on one page. I enjoy seeing all of your creative art work online. Pretty cool!

wild story..only in the comics....most police aren't weak..but hey ...it's the comics...think roadrunner and the coyote...two of my favorite tools....the same pencil you like and I,too like the colored pencil....you can use your fingers to blend both of your pencils...here again...you can get the light, medium, and dark values...have fun..draw every day...I do

Comics..sketching making people smile when they see my art. You are doing the same thing with your art. I started by tracing my favorite cartoons from the newspaper. That helped me get the feeling of how different cartoonists draw their characters. As you continue to draw and sketch you will eventually start to feel pretty good about what you are drawing or painting. You are off to a good beginning.Try to carry a pen or pencil with you.If you have a small note pad you will be all set to draw. Sure wish we could draw together some time. Have fun!

Hi Mason...still life drawings can be lots of fun....try squinting at your drawing and will see the lights, medium ,and darks that you have created. Try drawing larger in your rectangle and be bold with your pencil work so you can clearly see all of your values...you are doing great. Keep drawing young man. It becomes more and more fun each time we put our pencil to the paper.....love you Nephew...the uncle

Mason I like the color choices in this artwork. Blue gray makes me think of water on a beach. Sort of soothing and relaxing to me. Keep creating and expressing yourself.

Mason: I especially like the movement in this piece...it goes with the title. If you look at your piece one can see where the eye enters the drawing on the left and moves to the right and upwards....well done...stay warm

Mason Like this vertical piece. .I am glad to see that you didn't over use too many glazes.Less is more....simple lines work on three dimensional art as well...this is where practice comes in. I especially like the black and white pattern that runs up and out of this piece...glaze on nephew...Uncle Ron in Phoenix..love to you and the family

Mason...another nice piece of art. I like it because you used the entire paper. You again used warm next to cool colors which if very favorable in art and design. The designs are pleasant to the eye. Remember, there is no end to art so keep on making it and you will be see your work grow and flourish.....as always....draw every day and use both sides of the paper..love ya Uncle Ron in Phoenix

Mason,I like the various textures that you have in this black and white drawing. You are showing good balance with you light and darks. It is good to see you using other tones such as the light gray. The more you use them the more you will learn about values in your drawings. Keep up the good work and draw on both sides of the paper....all the best Uncle Ron

Mason....I started with my art at Trinity Lutheran School in Crown Point. My teachers really encouraged me. I fell in love with making art. You have a wonderful start in the always changing art world. I hope you find happiness when you make your art. I sure did. I hope you continue to create and enjoy the wonderful world of art as I have. Keep your pencil and paper by your side and draw on both sides of the paper....this is a great begining. I am now drawing pictures for my elventh book. I have learned many things about art and continue to explore all of them. You will find what you really enjoy if you try them all....love and creativity to my nephew.......
