I love this. It looks like you have a worried, pandemic expression - something we all have acquired to some extent now. It is good to have a 'relic' created from these times. And I am so glad that you were able to participate in an art project with your old school and art teacher. So nice.

Like I told you...this so reminds me of the ceramic piece that Gabriel made at school - and gifted to me - when he was young. Only it was a dish with a lid. The dish was all "crust" and the lid was the pizza sauce and toppings. Even though I haven't been keeping up with your artwork page very well, I'm going to miss Artsonia.

Wow, Laiylah, how did you do this? You're going to have to tell me about it when I see you next. It reminds me of how, at a powwow, the young male fancy dancers used to use a CD in the center of their feather bustle. Art and culture evolving with the times. Love ya

I also like how colorful this piece is. Makes me think about Lake Superior and the many days we were basking in the sun on the beach.

Your mom is right, Laiylah, such detail. That dragon had to be very difficult to cut out. But you persevered, like a true artist, to complete your creation. I am amazed. Gramma B

I ordered me an ornament of this. I still can't believe how you did this complicated looking art. I'm mesmerized. This is the most unusual Christmas design I will now have for a keepsake.

Good art interpretation, Mama. Mad Girl givin' the side eye. I love it. Upon looking closer, I see Girl has furrowed eyebrows and a rumpled mouth. Good details. And she makes me laugh whenever I look at her.
