From what I can tell this appears to be done in chalk. I appreciate the smearing of the colors, repetition of the lines and the intensity of the black trunk of the tree in contrast to the pink/red blossoms. It generates a hopeful, springtime atmosphere and demonstrates the sensitivity of the artist. Another great work Grandson. I'm a big fan! -- Janet

This "Poppies" painting is one of my favorites. It demonstrates Isaac's orderly mind and his attention to detail. The colors, use of repetition and variations all add up to a satisfying feeling of happiness! I think this would be awesome as a 3'x4' print in my home. Well done Grandson!!!! -- Janet
