I love to make mobiles!! Did you know there is a real Calder mobile in Lincoln at the Sheldon Art Gallery? It's called a stabile because it sits on the floor rather than hang from the ceiling. It looks a lot like the one you made. Did you like the balancing part of making your mobile? -- Aunt Vicki

I could tell right away this is a self portrait! Did you use a mirror or did you know what you look like? When I have my students do self portraits, I have them look in mirrors. I can see that you caught some great details of your face. -- Vicki

This looks as beautiful as a Dale Chihuly bowl!! Have your mom or dad look him up on the computer and see his glass art. You will see what I mean. If you want, I will take you and Kennedy to the art museum in Omaha an you can see his glass art in person. They also have lots of activities for kids that you might like to do. -- Vicki
