Bug, this beautiful landscape reminds me of Sedona. But Uncle Ry would also say it resembles southern Utah where he loved to hike. It's lovely, and I love the rock architecture that brings so much interest to your art work. You're the bomb! Love you, Gam

Elle Belle, This looks like a tricky piece to create given the texture and colors of the sunset. But you did a wonderful job capturing the changing colors of the sky and the rock/mountain formations. Very nice work! Love you, Mommy

Bug, when I look at this I see the Middle East with all the beautiful domes on their mosques. I also saw mosques that looked like yours in the Malay Quarter of Johannesburg, South Africa. The gorgeous sky makes a breathtaking backdrop to the building architecture. Well done, super artist! I love you, Gam

Wow, Elle-- what a gorgeous city-scape. I almost feel like I'm there! Your painting has such dimension and is beautifully done. Love you, Mommy

Elle Belle, I love your whirligig! The dark green and red makes it so vibrant, and your design must make a beautiful pattern when it's turning. You'll have to tell me more about it, my little artiste! Love you, Gam

Elle, I LOVE your beautiful weaving! And you used some of your favorite colors (that would also look great in your playroom.) This reminds me of the kind of crafts we did together at camp that were so much fun. You're a versatile artist extraordinaire! Love you, Gam

Wow, Bug! I didn't even know that you could view artwork with 3D glasses! Did you use acrylic paint? It looks like it, but dark watercolors can fool us. In any case, this piece of art is just beautiful! Your guitar seems to be floating above an abstract sky of blue with misshapen clouds of green. Love it—and YOU! Gam

Elle belle, I love this piece-- the colors and texture. The strings on the guitar look so realistic! Knowing that you used 3D materials, I can only imagine that it's even more phenomenal in person. Great work, my love! Mommy

Elle, I think I sent you some feedback about this particular piece of artwork last month, but maybe it didn't get posted. I just want you to know that this piece reflects spectacular drawing skills, and I know that you intended to finish with your colors later. I'm so glad that the school provides an online venue where we can view your beautiful work and send our congratulations for your work. Love you and your artistic interests, Gam

Elle belle, I love the simplicity of this piece as well as your use of color. The varied color of the wood planks is really stellar. Way to go!

Bug, I love your vintage ship! Your sky is a beautiful contrast to the water, and I can imagine seeing it at dusk with just those colors. Great art work! Love you, Gam

Bug, I love your self-portrait because (1) it's beautiful like you, (2) it's off-set, which gives it a very imaginative and whimsical look, (3) the background colors enhance the portrait, (4) your big, brown eyes are most prominent, and (5) most of all, it reflects the confident image you have of yourself! I love you so, Gam

Elle, I love your Victorian townhouse! I'm so glad that you made it a bit more colorful than the drearier colors of those days. Your eye for detail continues to develop beautifully—just like you! Love you, Gam

Bug, I love this beautiful pilgrim portrait. I'll bet she was a very hip girl in her day, just like you! The irregular framing gives a nice antique look and, of course, her lacy neckline and gathered bodice is so authentic to the times. Love you, Gam

Wow, Elle! I love how true you stayed to the period (hair style, clothes, facial expression) while giving your piece some of your own style. You look beautiful in every era!
