Matthew explained this is him when he was born. We told him once that he was born blue because the umbilical cord was around his neck. He is the circle in the middle, and the cord is around him. I guess it really made an impression.

Matthew explained that this is him in space. The orangy yellow is the sun, and behind that is the moon.

I absolutely LOVE this painting Matthew! That hint of yellow brightens the whole page and your use of primary colors is wonderful. I also really like the diagonal lines that you created in a bit of a checkerboard pattern. Well done!!
