This was supposed to be a vineyard with clouds streaking the sky and forest in the background. I dabbed a cue tip to make the trees.

I wanted to see the beauty of the flower from a different angle. I wanted to get all the detail.

Dear Annaliese, I loved the flowers! They are so bright and cheerful and a reminder of the beauty of God's magnificent creation. Keep up the good work! Love, Mrs. R.

Beautiful poem and beautiful artwork. I love the striking accents of blue and the way the ferns are drawn.

Hi, Annaliese, I saw your sneaker picture, and I really like it! Converse were one of my favorites! I used to have a pair of red converse high-tops that I work to play basketball. But I do like your color scheme, especially the sky in the background! Keep up the good work! Love, Mrs. R.

I second Ms. Kuah's comment. You made lemonade out of lemons--and a distinctive piece of artwork also. That "e" is an important part of your name and this way it is emphasized!

This is so beautiful! Just like a Georgia O'Keeffe, but in photography. Keep taking pictures from unusual angles.

Annaliese, I love your Art Box, but I don't like that it was inspired by the "Day of the Dead". It looks more like an "Explosion of Happiness". I also love the beautiful photograph of the micro rose. I am anxious to see more of your work. Love, Momo

RECOMMENDATIONS (Teacher's Comments):

Annaliese, this is awesome! Sorry I spelled your name wrong in the original sketch. You did a great job turning a "mistake" into a surprise. The contrast in your lettering is strong and very well done!
