I would really like to hear the story behind this one, Gavin. I see layers of sky, mountains, forest, rivers and a town, but I am sure there is more you could tell me (like why the initials in the river??). Maybe sometime soon you could share with me. I would like that!

Oh, I love the MOVEMENT in this one, Gavin! It almost makes me dizzy to follow those lines in the circle!

I love the way you mixed colors on this one - the yellow blends with the blue for green, and balances the large expanse of green with it's brighter hue - you really make your viewer's eyes work the whole canvas with this one!

Gavin, I love the way you played with perspective in this one. Dali liked to confuse people by making foreground and background in his works jump back and forth and this does that very well! He also showed us how our minds recognize things (and animals!) even when they don't look "typical" because their elements have changed. The long legs on your critter are an example of that, too. Great job!
