This reminds me of the different groups of constellations formed by the pattern of the stars. You did a great job connecting the stars and forming the pictures that the stars create as they hover above us in the vast universe. Great job on this. -- Nona

This is a very interesting drawing. I think my favorite part is the huge unusual-looking tree. I like the way you drew the exposed roots. I'm thinking that is some kind of curly bush next to the tree.....am I right? I'd like to hear what you were thinking when you created this. -- Nona

I love how you grouped the warm colors on one side and the cooler colors on the other side. You also cleverly grouped different shapes not repeating any of the warm shapes in the cool shapes group. Nice job Roddy! -- Nona

This Orca looks amazing against the blue sea and purple sky. I like that you chose purple as the sky color. It was very creative. The texture of the water makes it splash off the page. Whatever technique you used here really works to bring out the beauty of nature and the animals in their environment. -- Nona

This reminds me of an impressionist painting. When I first looked at it, the colors made me feel like I was floating through space in a meteor shower. Good job mixing the round shapes and vertical shapes. It's a very interesting piece. -- Nona

I really enjoyed your drawing of "Joe's Island". It reminds me of our cottage in York. I love the way you drew the house and the beach. The tree beside the house was a nice touch. It makes me want to visit this Island someday. You made it look so real with the beautiful blue water surrounding the jagged Island landscape. Your art fills me with joy!
