Wow! Wow! This one made me get tears in my eyes! It is so beautiful and colorful, yet soft and peaceful at the same time! Of all the scenes you have made, this one is my favorite. I am so proud of you!

I love how the intersecting circles show different colors and patterns! Nice grouping and balance of objects. I find my eyes looking slowly from one group of objects to another. Very relaxing!

All the bright colorful leaves tell us fall is here! Great perspective drawing of the barn! I’d like to go over that bridge and walk to the Apple tree. I bet those apples are sweet, crunchy and delicious! Good job, Zoe!

Oh, I just love peacocks! They are so beautiful, and this guy is no exception! I love the way he is showing off his colorful feathers, and saying “look at me!” Nice job, Zoe!

Wow! Hold onto your hats! Zoe has created a windy day! Look at the wind swirling around, and the trees are about ready to blow away! The sky is so dark- could rain be far away?! Good job on using colors and swirls to make your picture come alive!

I think I'd like the pumpkin on the left hand side! I would like to carve it and make a great looking Jack-o-Lantern! Good job, Zoe! Fall is one of my favorite seasons, and you did a great job showing a glimpse of another season!

Wow Zoe! Here is a way to combine two fun things! making the patterns on each square, then putting them together into another picture! I'm glad you used so many shapes and colors. Lines, dots, zig-zag, stripes, circles, and each one is so different! This looks like a fun project, and you did a good job on it!

I'm sorry, Zoe. Scarecrows are supposed to scare away the critters that come to eat vegetables in the garden, but this scarecrow is so sweet looking, how could anyone be afraid? He is smiling with colorful patches on his clothes, and hearts on his cheeks! He has a jaunty decoration in his straw hat, and the bird on his shoulder is singing happily! Great picture, Sweetie!

Hi Zoe! This is a great scarecrow! I have always loved scarecrows. On this piece of art, I don't know what I like more- the hearts on his cheek, or that the crow on his shoulder isn't afraid of him at all! Nice patches and great contrasting colors! You did a great job, Sweetie!

Another colorful picture! This is so beautiful! The flowers are standing so proud and colorful, and the background reminds me of hills blazing in color with the sky showing a sunset. Good job, Zoe! Your pictures always make me happy!

Eeeeeek! That is the bugliest bug I have ever seen! Look at those big red eyes! It looks like it is flying right off the page! Even though it looks scary, the curly antenna and the fluffy pom-poms on the top seem to be telling me that this bug won't hurt me. But, just to be on the safe side, I won't put my finger near it- at least until I get to know it better!

I like to watch fish swimming. It is very relaxing, and this fish swimming across your page makes me think I have an aquarium! I see the air bubbles lazily floating up, and enjoy seeing the softly shimmering scales. You made some beautiful patterns on the body, and the tail looks like it is moving ever so slightly as it stops just long enough to say "Hi!" A great picture with a lot of depth in the water!

It looks like spring is really here! The birds are back in full color, and looking for food! You made some very colorful birds, Zoe! I love the feathers on the tails! I always enjoy the pictures you draw and color and paint. They always make me smile. Thank you for the peek at the summer to come!

Another great picture Zoe! In this picture, I understand you were supposed to use the shapes you had learned. Everyone who looks at art sees something different, and that is what makes it so exciting! Through your shapes and colors you used, I can see four different pictures in this heart! The upper left hand corner looks like a ship coming towards us on the sea. I see stars and birds in the sky! The upper right I see a storm with a hard rain! The bottom left I see a rocky terrain with the rocks smoothed by water, and the bottom right looks like mountains. It is so much fun to see your pictures, Zoe! Thank you for sharing!

I like the way you layered the colors on top of each other. The black lines give the picture lots of energy. Great job, Sweetheart!

What a great abstract! I like the way the red keeps popping out to pull your eye back to the middle of the picture. That was pretty clever to put some Z's in there- could that stand for Zoe? Great composition! Good color arrangement, and the black lines really make it pop!

Antarctica is a very cold place without much color. Snow and ice all around. Here is a happy penguin! The sky is full of color! Could it be the Southern Lights glowing in the sky? The snow is falling, and it has landed on his hat and flippers. This is a great picture! When I look at it, I don't even feel the cold because the warm colors you used in the sky, and the penguin looks like he is enjoying himself! Great job, Zoe! I hope you had as much fun creating it as I had looking at it!

Dear Zoe, Look at those colors in the background! It reminds me of a fall day with the reds, oranges, and darker greens. Your self-portrait is excellent. It looks just like you with your pretty blonde hair and happy smile and blue eyes. I think your drawing is just lovely.

Dear Zoe, I love your big, tall sunflowers! You did such a great job on this picture, and I could see myself in this garden watching the creatures flying about! Love, Grandma
