This is a photo of a flower with some surrounding green leaves. You used dodge and burn on photoshop and I like how you made the flower the focal point by dodging it. It makes the photo look good. If I may suggest I would have done a little focal blur to sort of blur out the background. I like that the focal point is sort of to the right side of the picture. The leaves lead your eye to the contrast of light purple and dark green. I would interpret this photo as if it were from spring. It looks gorgeous. I like this photo because of the interesting use of colors.

This is a picture of a fire. I like the variety of contrasting shadows from the flames and the shape of them. To me, this photo shows lighting and shadows, and the fiery feeling from within. This picture was successful because of how the flames were captured in the position they were and the contrasting of the shadows.

What I like about this picture is that it is very colorful and its my favorite season which is Autumn. It has the leaves all in the ground and in tree which means means that it is great. What I don’t like about this picture is that you could have blurred the background like the house. What this means to me is that mother nature is getting ready to leave summer behind and bring fall.

Emily is sitting alone in front of the lockers, in the hallway, as Kelsey walks away from her. The lockers, people, floor and walls are in black and white, while Emily is bursting in color. Because she is in color, she sticks out more and the focus is drawn to her. I think this means that it hurts to be alone sometimes, and school can be an especially lonely place. School is hard enough as it is, but when you don’t have anyone to talk to, well that just makes it worse. I really like this picture because of the way Emily is in color and the background is in black and white. It really shows the whole purpose of this photo and its theme, injustice.

This is a picture of what looks to be a tree branch at night. The image has a blue-ish, purple-ish tint to it and I like how it all blends together. The texture also really stands out. I think this picture is the type of photograph that represents whatever you feel when you look at it. It has no fixed meaning and feeling. I really like this picture because I think it is much more original than just taking a picture of a tree.

Paige, I like this picture a lot. What I like the most is that is that is is very wintery and snowing and its just amazing. The texture of the tree is also pretty great and it shows its great quality. There is nothing with this picture its perfecto.

This photo consists of a lone girl leaning against a locker in the hallway. The technique of loneliness and unfairness is being portrayed in this picture, and is also in a landscape genre with a realism style of art. This photo is all black and white, besides the exception of the girl in color, which makes her the center of interest, or the eye grabber. To me, the art shows the idea of loneliness. The girl is being left by a person and is left all alone, which makes her sad. I think this photo is of very good quality because of the color effects and how she created the center of interest.

This photo is a before and after collage of an apple that has been digitially enhanced. It has been changed to the color blue. The apple has a pattern that circulates the core which gives the apple a distinct look. Especially when put through a photo editor. The center of interest is the apple. It isn't in the middle of the photo; it is at the bottom. I would interpret this photo as like an evil apple you know like the one the princesses eat and then they die and won't wake up until a true love's kiss comes. I like this photo. It is quality and it can have many different meanings. It is the coolest one I've seen and is my first one to comment on. You are successful Paige!!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! :)

Analyze: The now makes white dots in the picture giving it character. Interpret: I think it shows how pretty snow is when it currently is snowing. Judgement: I think the artist was successful because the color in the first picture is only black and white. But in the second picture it has purple and blue.
