Madeline, Nice work! The perspective is very realistic - actually made me feel a little dizzy looking 'up' into your skyscrapers reaching toward the sky! And the variance of patterns and colors on all the different buildings really helps each of them to stand out distinctly. Thanks for sharing! Aunt Stephani

Very cool, Madeline! I really like all the different patterns and how the colors compliment one another - the green series, the purple series... Your perspective is also nice and this piece of art has sort of an 'edgy' quality to it that really makes you stop and look deeply into it. Nice job. I really enjoy your artistic abilities!

Madeline, I LOVE the colors in this piece! The contrasting colors and the texture really make it pop. And the expression - both the eyes and the mouth, story along with the spiky hair - tell a fascinating about this person. That's what great art is all about, right? Telling a story. Way to go and thank you for sharing!

This is so lovely, Madeline! I love the contrasting colors and the perspective you used to make the jar 3-dimensional. I also like how each of the flowers are unique - in their style and coloration, including the brushstrokes. You are such a talented artist and I'm so lucky to get to see your creations! Love you!

Madeline, This may be one of my favorite pieces I've seen of yours! It is stunningly beautiful! I love the vibrant colors and the way you blend the colors - pink with the yellow and all the shades on the leaves. Your shading is really lovely - the depth of colors. And the choice of your background color is very striking and makes the flower jump out dimensionally! Really nice job! Love, Aunt Stephani

Madeline, I would be interested to hear more about the techniques and story of this art. The shapes are really neat - especially flowers within the shapes. I also like the contrast between the very simple birds at the top with the much more detailed insects in the middle of the piece. Thank you for sharing! Love, Aunt Stephani

Madeline, What a lovely lion! I really like how the colors in the face are so bold - and beautifully contrasting - while the mane is feathered so softly that it looks just like a lion's hair. Your shading around the lion's nose gives it a nice dimension and I love the details of the whiskers. Always so delighted to see new art that you have shared. Keep up the lovely work! Aunt Stephani

What a wonderfully cacophonous blast of colors and shapes, Madeline! The wavy lines are like steam coming from the mug - creative! I also like how the coloring isn't precise - it's sort of slapdash and carefree - like it's a jazzy moment. And the many shapes - circles, squares, swirls, donuts - and those crazy amoeba shapes on the mug - very groovy. Thank you for sharing your art. Love, Aunt Stephani

Madeline, This is adorable! Your shading on the penguin's tummy is really nice. I also love the bow in her hair and the smudging of colors in the background the look like the colors of the sun reflecting through the sky. Very sophisticated artistry! Thanks so much for sharing! Love, Aunt Stephani

Very nice, Madeline! You used different brushstrokes and textures to show different types of growing things - very clever. I also love the pop of red at the bottom that encourages the person admiring the painting to look through the whole picture. Did you know that Nana used to have a windmill on the farm where she lived when she was your age? Thanks for sharing lovely art! Love - Aunt Stephani

Madeline, I love the look you have created with the layered farms to create a rolling hill appearance and bright red barn and windmill at the bottom. The sun peaking from behind the hill warms up the picture too. Beautiful! This may be my favorite piece of yours yet :) Love, Mom
