Hi Liv, I just love your Van Gogh inspired still life! You really did a great job with layering in the flowers and I like all the heart detail on the vase. This picture captures the essence of Van Gogh's work. Your artwork makes me smile, sweetie. I can see your imagination at work ... keep it up! Love, Auntie K

Dear Liv, I just love this picture! It looks like a depiction of the upcoming Solar Eclipse! As seen from the Earth, a solar eclipse is a type of eclipse that occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, and the Moon fully or partially blocks the Sun. The next Solar Eclipse will be on Monday, August 21st. You have to get SPECIAL glasses or goggles to view it. I just checked and Charleston, South Carolina will be experiencing a TOTAL Solar Eclipse, which is very rare. Savannah is close to Charleston ... I'm sure you'll be able to get a great view. I love you, Sweetie. Keep up the good work! Love, Auntie K

Dear Liv, I love your whimsical rabbit ... especially the pink ears! My interpretation of this is that the rabbit is dreaming of carrots! It looks like you have lots of fun doing your art projects, sweetie. Keep it up! Your creativity makes me smile. I love you, Auntie K.

Dear Liv, Your chameleon drawing is so colorful and detailed. I just love it! I especially like how you made a bulls-eye rainbow design on the chameleon. You used a technique first developed by the French artist, Georges Seurat called Pointillism: an artwork using tiny dots of various pure colors which become blended in the viewer's eye. Plus, your chameleon outline is an excellent rendering. His tail is cute! Keep up the fantastic work, Liv. I just love seeing it. I miss you, sweetie. Your pal, Auntie K.

Dear Sweet Liv, I really like your interpretation of Claude Monet's Japanese Bridge and Water Lily Pool in his garden in France. Monet is one of my very favorite artists. He was the leader of the "Impressionist Movement" in France and I think you have captured the spirit of his work very well, sweetie. The more muted color tones work very well in your picture and your composition is excellent -- great job! I love seeing your artwork, Liv. It always makes me smile. I can see you're having fun with it too. Love, Auntie K

Dear Livvy, This is a classic tree! We got a lot of snow in Wisconsin over this past weekend, so all of the outdoor Christmas trees are now covered in white! Keep up the good work, Sweetie, Love, Auntie K

Keep up the good work, sweetie. I can tell you enjoy doing your artwork. I did too at your age and I still like doing craft projects and needlepoint at my age! I miss you to pieces! Love, Auntie K

Dear Olivia, I really like your Kandinsky-inspired color wheel! You chose very happy colors! The yellows, reds and oranges are 'warm' colors and the 'cooler' purple and light blue tones in the center of your wheel make for a nice composition. I also like that you used 'tertiary' colors ... not simply the primary colors of red, blue and yellow. I miss you, sweet Livvy! With much love, Auntie K
