Ok so my imagination runs wild. I see the trees running away from the big green slime monsters...no,no,no, the blue bowling ball is trying to knock down the trees which are getting out of the way. The trees are Ents with shaggy "hair"...

These trees remind me of the ones in the Dr. Sues book The Lorax.

Hey Zoe, Do you know what jumped right out at me when I saw your Chinese dragon? All the vibrant colors!!! Then the detail of her face! I'm assuming it's a girl, yes? Have you always wanted to be inside the costume in the Chinese New Year parade? Good job, honey Grandma (Ginny) XXXOO

As soon as I saw your newest art piece, I said that looks like a Chinese dragon and, sure enough, when I read the description it was a Chinese dragon. Good job. You accomplished the mission.

I see the stars and the Big Dipper. I can see Vincent the wizard, with his bow tie and wand stirring up the heavenly bodies...This is a very fun piece...Thank you.

Excellent use of the "reflection/mirror" motif. A very old song comes to mind called "Moonlight Bay". Partial lyrics are--We were sailing along...On Moonlight Bay...You could hear the voices singing...They seemed to say... You have stolen my heart... Now don't go way...As they sang "Love's Old Sweet Song"... On Moonlight Bay...

I wonder if the person in the picture is related to "Mary Poppins". The hair is long, so maybe it is a girl. What song is she singing and where is she going ? The brush strokes show that the wind is swirling, carrying her up up up. The picture makes me think these things. Great job !!

I feel very peaceful looking at life on a coral reef and this snapshot captures that feeling very very well. I like that it shows the variety of different fishes around the reef and especially the bubbles. The fish with the light bulb is great and you are particularly smart to know that an Anglerfish is very real and that he has teeth bared to catch the prey lured in by the flashing light...Way to go... A whole lotta love to you...

Great work. Several different meanings. I can see the ballerina feeling so light that she can dance on the clouds. Or maybe the ballerina is doing a dance pleasing to God, so He has angels dancing on the heavenly clouds.

You have a good grasp of the symmetry of spider webs and you have a very menacing spider waiting to pounce on unsuspecting prey. Keep up the good work.

Oh, Zoe, this looks like it was very difficult to draw. You did it so well. You can tell me more about it when I see you. I find it very interesting. Hugs, Grandma

As an artist myself, Zoe follows along Matisse's lines and even adds in details of her own, showing an elementary grasp of the medium....Or in other words....Yea for Zoe !!!!!
