I like your latest artwork. You did a good job with the cut outs from construction paper to create your scene. Love from your grandma! -- Emily

I love your latest painting. You were able to show how excited one of the puppies is by painting it jump into the air. I also like how you managed to paint small framed pictures on the wall. It takes a lot of skill, which you have, to paint something small like that. -- Emily

Megan, I like how you thought to show puppies having fun. The portaits on the wall seem like people are watching this puppy play from a symbolic remote location. That is like me also viewing your puppy play time here on the school website, but I can not see you in person making it happen. Some human beings are very active, but some just watch and don't get involved. It is best to engage actively in life. I think you are one who is willing to try new things. Keep being active in your art and learning. -- Madeline

You have made a lovely self-portrait. Be sure to keep it forever. It is an important milestone in any artist's life to have an early self-portrait. You are very pretty. -- Madeline

Very good! Your two main colors--yellow hair and violet dress show you know how to use contrasting colors very well. The outlining was an excellent design choice. You know good basics for drawing faces. Keep on with your art. We enjoy seeing your work. The use of warm colors give the viewer (me) warm, happy feelings. :-) -- Madeline

Megan, I love the composition of your artwork. The positions of the objects show you have a good eye for how to balance your paintings. The simplicity of the colors make the viewer feel peace and joy the way a pet owner feels with a good pet. His little pug face is adorable. -- Madeline

That is a very good painting of Claude Monet's Japanese bridge. Did you know that Grandpa and I visited his house and saw his garden and bridge on a trip to France in 2010? I will try to show you our photos one day. Your painting brings back happy memories, and I really like it. I look forward to seeing more of your artwork while you are in fifth grade. -- Emily

Your colors are very complimentary and your lines and patterns are clever. Some of your letters got cut off (by the computer I think), but I see a joyful celebration of mustache shapes lined up. Your picture made me feel happy. Keep up your good art work! -- Madeline
