Alex is maturing a lot with his creations. I particularly like the symmetry along with the color selections in the outer designs. This, along with the dark corner designs, draws the eye into the middle of the piece where the lighter diamond shapes pop out to be seen. Very good work Alex! -- Gene

I continue to be impressed with Alex's attention to his portrayal of 'real'.. e.g. the inside/out umbrella, bent straw and the way the top coating 'melts' behind the candy edging. Excellent work!! -- Gene

Alex shows a high level of creativity which can be seen from the colors/design on the piece. His other art items shown on this site also show a high level of apprecciation for life organization..i.e. portraying objects like flowers in a realistic manner (for this age group).
