I love when you work with pastels, Gabe! This teapot just beckons me. Well done!

What an outstanding example of linear perspective used to create depth. A fantastic scene, technically well executed, beautifully detailed and imaginative. Love it.

Gabe- the artist statement for this piece was required, please add. May I suggest adding a title as well, seeing as though your was a leaf- not the band still life. Good work with the wax resist and complementary colors.

Gabe- I am so pleased with how this piece turned out. Though it took a great deal of time on your part, the extra attention to completing this scene really paid off. I love the spalsh of red for the Cardinal, nice touch.

Dear 6th Graders: Very nice work on your warm and cool designs. I think you all demonstrated that you know the warm colors and the cool colors. Can you see your warm colors popping out and the cool colors receding? Where does that effect work best and where does it not work at all? Why do you think?
