I love this artwork! It is really put together with no areas of distraction, and I loved the different types of materials used. The colors worked well together and really popped, and I really liked the positive messages of the piece. -- Elise

Hi Renee- I am glad my winter landscape painting inspired you. Excellent observations of branching structure and use of overlapping to show depth in this landscape. I agree, the lavender sky adds a touch of color to the wintry neutrals.

Dear 6th Graders: Very nice work on your warm and cool designs. I think you all demonstrated that you know the warm colors and the cool colors. Can you see your warm colors popping out and the cool colors receding? Where does that effect work best and where does it not work at all? Why do you think?
