Whoa, Lydia--what a great new piece of artwork. It looks like a Sawfish. Sure hope they don't have those at Walloon Lake:) I am so looking forward to seeing my soon-to-be 8 year old niece. Love you!

Lydia: We loved seeing your Japanese Notan paper cut design. Were you studying positive and negative space art? It looks like you didn't have any difficulty putting the puzzle pieces put back together correctly:) It is fun to learn different forms of art and we love seeing yours. Keep having fun! Love you, Grandma and Grandpa

Lydia- the colorful flowers are wonderful! They are much more vibrant that the desert colors out here in Arizona! I just love all of your artwork; I always check my email to see when you have new designs. Cannot wait to see you...is it July yet? Love you!

Lydia, It must have rained a lot in the month of April because your May flowers are so colorful and beautiful. I have only one question for you? What kind of food does your "dog flower" eat? Grandpa and Grandma always enjoy sharing your creative artwork. It always brings a smile into our day. Hope you smiling, too. Love you, Grandma and Grandpa

Dear Lydia: Wouldn't it be wonderful to have two pair of hands like your picture has? Just think how much you could get accomplished with four hands:) The unique patterns you have chosen for the hands are all so different. You must have had fun in Art class the day you performed this masterpiece!! Your two hands were really busy on that day. We love to see the great work you do in Art. Love you, Grandma and Grandpa

Lydia: I really love your cardinal painting. This cardinal is much prettier than the one that hangs out in our back yard. By the size of his tummy he hasn't been missing too many meals either :D Grandpa and I just love seeing your unique artwork. Love you, Grandma and Grandpa

Oh Lydia- what another great piece of artwork! The bright red Cardinals are simply beautiful. I thought the snow on the branches was the perfect artistic touch. I don't want school to end...I'll miss all these great pictures over the summer :) Miss & love you. Keep up the good work!

Lydia Grace: We love your great birch trees and your beautiful blue bird. It must be very cold in Michigan because it looks like that blue bird would rather be some place warmer. I bet you would, too! Grandpa even commented on how wonderful your artwork has been and how much he enjoys being able to see it posted. We are definitely in your "Fan Club" Love you, Grandma and Grandpa

Lydia- the birch tree bird is beautiful! I love the dimension and color. I noticed white dots in the background. Because I live in Arizona, I think I have forgotten what that is :) Keep up your wonderful work. Miss and love you!

Lydia, Yikes!! What a great monster. He is definitely one that I would prefer not like to run into in a dark alley, anywhere. His numerous eyes would be sure to spot me hiding in the shadows. That tongue looks like it has already tasted too many unsuspecting prey. Oh, that's right he is a "ceramic monster", but you made his tongue look so realistic. Great artwork, I love seeing what you do in school:D Love you, Grandma Nancy

Lydia: Wow-it is 3-D. This must be one talented spider that spun this beautiful, colorful web:) I'll bet that arachnid needed a little help from Lydia even though he does have eight legs:D I know what a fan both you and your mommy are of those little spiders, but this one is a beautiful work of art!!l Love you, Grandma Nancy

Lydia- yet another fine masterpiece. I love the depth of your spider's web. I'm glad you added some red in there--it was looking like a U of M celebration (ask your dad to explain!). Love you!

I love the "ROY G. BIV" rainbow of colors, Lydia. What a unique way to express yourself. I need this one to go w/ the colorful birds on a wire! Keep up the great work- I so much enjoy seeing all your new creations :)

Yes, You are "Lydia". I read all the personality clues and I knew that it had to be you. You picked the most unique clues that are "Lydia". But, when I pressed on water skiing, I didn't see the video of you skiing. When I pressed on diving, I didn't see the video of you diving. Next time include those videos :D Just kidding, of course! I loved your artwork. Keep up the good work! Love you, Grandma

Whoa, Lydia! Your "Birds on a Wire" are so colorful. I especially love the curly hair on the red bird and the way some of the birds have their heads turned like they are talking to each other. I wonder what they are discussing? Keep up your good art work because we love sharing it. See you soon. We love you, Grandma and Grandpa

Whoa- a mud pie. Oh wait...a mud cloth...silly me! Looking good, Lydia! Love the brown, black, and light colors. They match my house here in Arizona. I am always excited when I get an email that says, "Lydia has new artwork." Keep up the great work, my dear. Love you! Aunt Kerry

Dear Lydia Grace: It looks like you have another beautiful artwork called "Mud Cloth". Although I must say I have never had any of my dirty cleaning 'mud cloths' that looked anything like yours :) Of course your grandma is just teasing you. It must be fun to try so many different things in your art class. Keep up the good work and enjoy yourself. We love you and will see you soon when you come to Naples in April. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Lydia: Another beautiful artwork from that first grader in Clarkston. Only one question??? Is that snow piled up so high on that rooftop? Yikes, thankfully, we don't get snow here in Naples. Although it is nice to see it in your picture. Keep up the good work! Are you coming for a visit to Florida in April? You can even bring your Mom, Dad and Ryder, too. Only no snow allowed!!!! Hope to see you soon. Love you. Grandma and Grandpa

Dear Lydia Grace: Grandpa and Grandma saw your latest artwork and each one you do gets better and better. This one really has that Kandinsky flare. We just love it. It is your favorite color, pink, too. Keep up the good work. We look forward to your next piece of artwork. We love you, so hurry up and get down here to Naples for Christmas because we miss you. Dear Lydia Grace: What a special surprise to receive a copy of your artwork in my email. The only thing that grandpa and I could say about it was that it was "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". I loved both of your samples and we look forward to seeing more of your artwork. You are a budding little Picasso! We Love you, Grandma and Grandpa
