I really like this. It reminds me of stacked coins or fingers.

Oooh! This work is active, creative, inspiring, and calming all rolled into one! It makes me think of a beach town AND neighborhood in the city... I want to live there! The irregular shapes remind me of birds. And of course the light brown/fawn object in the top left reminds me of Laverne.

Carina, the way you used the white paint on the jug makes it look like light is really bouncing off of it. I like the blue background, too. You created a sense of energy with it that is a nice complement to the "stillness" of the pears.

What a beautiful sculpture, Carina! The sculpting and the mottled colors make the cat so realistic. It reminds me of some pieces from our favorite CMA. I can't wait to see it in person.

My favorite part of this picture is the little purple bow on top of her head. My eyes keep being drawn toward that purple bow. Love it!

I really like this one also, Carina! Even though there's a lot of darkness, the color shining through adds cheer and brightness. I'd like you to explain how you did this next time I see you. When I was little, we did something like this, but I think we scratched the picture to make the color underneath show up. Is that how you did it?

I love it, Carina! It's so SPRING! (The funny thing is I just found an old pot in the garage which I forgot I had put extra tulip bulbs into last fall.) I noticed about 8 bulbs sprouting green stems sticking up today, and was so excited! This picture looks almost just like it! Happy day! God bless, Love, Gramma Robin
