Your "Hearty Animal" looks a little like Paddy. My very favorite part of this work is the hearts on the left that appear to be fluttering up to the sky. I see you used the same colors in three places again to make a strong composition. I think you are comfortable with triadic (triangle or three point ) arrangements - and that's a good thing ! -- Nancy

Resist is a fun way to make designs on fabric. Using potato starch mixed with a little water, you can paint lines and shapes with a brush, let it dry,and then paint on the bare spaces with fabric paint or dye. Later,when the colored areas are dry,so the paint won't wash away, the fabric is washed to remove the potato starch, leaving the original color of the fabric showing. -- Nancy'

Nice use of buttons and I'm glad to see you weren't afraid to go outside the edge of the paper with the hat. The way the snowman tilts makes him more animated - nice job ! -- Nancy

This is an amazing piece of work Reily. My favorite part is the two candy canes facing each other. Origami is a fun thing to do. Did you know that working with paper is the number one art form in the world ? There are people who fold and others who cut paper to make pictures, designs or sculptures. Another whole bunch of people work on paper, but using paper as the art material is very special. -- Nancy
