Lilah, I looked up the word "mandala" and discovered that is a term used in spiritual realms to mean circle. The circle with the central point is meant to symbolize the universe. I love this picture and I also learned what it's meaning is. Great job. Love Grandma Barbara

Wow! What bold colors and then the surprising secret square. There are so many shapes in your drawing. This reminds me of the carpet at the hotel and all the things we could see inside the design. I see a volcano in this and it's erupting. And I see two birds staring at each other and also a snowman winking. And I see a red sidewalk going off into the distance. I could look at this forever!
