Lillie, this is one of my favorites so far! I like how the birds all sort of look alike, but each one is slighty different in shape, size, feathers, etc. (Sort of like a family!) I also like the way they're all stacked up. My favorite is the small blue one on top. He looks like he might be just a little bit crazy!

Lillie ... I think this picture is so wonderful. It is especially meaningful since it is a reminder of our Lord Jesus Christ who has truly redeemed us by providing our salvation. You always capture beautiful colors, especially in the sky this time. And I love the way you have made the sun so gloriously bright. Great artwork...you are very talented. Love, Grandma

Lillie, You know this is one of my favorite pieces you have made since it shows a garden! I have planted some vegetables and some flowers this year. Unfortunately I am having a hard time with my flowers because the squirrels keep digging up the plants in the pots on my deck! They dig in the dirt looking for nuts. Usually they just dump the flowers off the side of the pot, but yesterday they actually took two of my plants away somewhere! I like the way you colored all the space on this paper--great colors! Love, Aunt Amy

Lillie ... I am fascinated by every piece of your artwork posted on Artsonia. You truly have a special talent. Lincoln's stovepipe hat made me smile. I liked thinking of you as you drew it and thinking also of one of our greatest presidents. It is a cool piece of artwork. Also, I especially enjoyed your heart with the cross in the center. How important it is to have Jesus represented in our hearts! Good job!
-- Grandma

Lillie, This hat is REALLY tall! Just like the one president Lincoln wore! Great job! Love, Mommy

Lillie, this definitely reminds me of the Olympics. I also noticed that it says it was inspired by the Russian painter Kandinsky. He is one of my favorites. I have several of his paintings set to rotate on the screen in my car. I hope you've gotten to look at some of his paintings in school.

Lillie, this is my favorite work you have done so far. The painting by Van Gogh is one that I have always loved. I like the way that you added your own special touch with the rainbow colors on the vase. Sometime I will show you a version of this painting that Emily did when she was in grade school and that Grammy did when she was a girl! You have arranged the flowers in a really nice way, and the colors all work together very well.

I have a teapot with a poinsettia on it that looks very much like this one. I'll show it to you next time you are here! Keep up your wonderful artwork!
