Are those real? They must be real. They look real. Do I see mist rising out of one, maybe both! Must be a photo.

Very cool composition Ezra!
- Dad on March 4, 2020

Nice work. Could be a still of a kaleidoscope Wonder if you could make a rug.
- Papa on November 27, 2019

I love the simplicity of this. Do you know the poem “In Flanders Field” the poppies grow?

I always enjoy the effort you put into your art. Don't know what effect you were after but for sure the lines, sizes, and shapes are fun. Not sure about the color; perhaps too pastel for my taste. Also. I am not sure about background. Are they near the ledge of a pool?
-- Papa
- on November 28, 2018
Love the coloring on this, Ezra!
-- Dad
- on October 24, 2018

Love the cool sizes of the letters. Well done!
-- Dad
- on October 2, 2018

Just really great--perhaps different back ground color would be even better. Maybe yellow would work and emphasize contrast with flower and stem a bit more. Really. I couldn't do it!
-- Papa
- on October 3, 2018

Love it, especially head. wonder what it would look like if it were only head. Eyes and scowl are menacing.

- on May 16, 2018
I agree with you dad completely. Best work yet. Think you could add a bit more texture (probably a dabbing technique) that your instructor will know. Keep at it young man. Can't wait to see you.

As I told you last night, these two tulip pictures are stunning. Your very best work yet. I love the almost impressionistic rendering of the flowers, with brilliant expression of colors and composition and just enough detail to know clearly what they are.

Like the detail. Almost mechanical in presentation with wheels, spoken and perhaps gears. Think you should consider naming your art.
-- Papa
- on October 18, 2017

This looks like just an effort for fun and goofiness which has a place. Not sure what is in the lower creatures nose...maybe iPod

-- Dad
- on April 5, 2017

Great Erza. So good I can only shake my head and smile. First struck on how proportional the parts are to the whole body of the person. The detail on her outfit is remarkable. Perhaps there is too much background green space between your person and the decorative hangings. Maybe lowering them would do the trick. Keep practicing. You get better each time.
-- papa
- on March 29, 2017

Great work. Like the full background with the triangles (stars) some on the turtle then not as you use colors (brown) and different pattern for legs. Love the detail and thought

Ezra--I LOVE this one. Way to go. I can see the Monet influence.
- on March 18, 2015
Ezra, You keep topping yourself. It seems each work builds upon and is better than the previous one. This is great work. It seems you are looking down upon the frog as it dives underwater. It not only shows a great sense for composition but also anatomy and the true life of a diving frog. Keep up the good work...you combine art, science and anatomy. Love you.
