Lucy, I live in an area where many artists create masks from all kinds of materials especially gourds. I have seen so many different types of masks, some scary, some funny, some sad and some embellished with pretty stones, feathers, or metal. Your mask looks very abstract like something a painter like Picasso would do. Keep up the good work and maybe one of these days your Art will be hanging in a gallery someplace!
