This is one of my all time favorites by Abby. the water colors that change and shift texture across the sky give it a real effect of movement and wind, a lot more so than if it were just plain flat blue.the horizon is in the perfect place relative to the trees to give it real depth. That is a consistent mark in Abby's work: depth that gives a 3-d effect. Terrific! -- Daddy

I LOVE this one. It captures the chill of winter but is still warm and very much alive because of the bird. There is something about this piece that makes me feel warm and that spring will come soon, despite it still being cold and snowy. -- Daddy

I love the depth of this piece. There are buildings behind buildings and backgrounded by the sky in the distance. It gives this a real 3-D feel to it. Excellent piece! -- Daddy
