Wish I could read music to know more about this piece, James. I enjoy the layering of the art on top of the sheet music. Orbs can be tough to draw and I think you really captured the 3D nature of them with this great piece!

This is a wonderfully silly Cat in the Hat. This has always been a book that you love. Remember dressing as this for the Literacy Day Parade? My favorite part of this piece is the wonky eyes!!

Adore you cathedral art, James. Your attention to detail on the exterior facade is great and the colors are so rich. It reminds me of standing in front of the stain glass windows of this beautiful church!

James, your artist’s rendering perfectly captures the beauty of Notre Dame Cathedral, fire or no fire, and I love the colors you used which highlight the stone carvings and stained glass windows of this ancient and beautiful place. Good job!

Oh, James, I like this very much. The checkered flag is so cool, and the bright colors laid across it really pop! This reminds me of one of Uncle Mike’s art projects that I liked so much I framed it in an acrylic shadow box. Perhaps we can do that with this wonderful piece!

Oh, my! What a dandy snowman you made, James! Did you make a real snowman last week when it snowed? And I'm guessing the white swirls beside him was snow swirling through the air, because that's just how it looked here at my place? Good job!

Hi, James Love your beautiful leaves on orange background! This is one of the reasons we love fall so much.
-- Mom Pete
- on January 3, 2018
Great job, James! I love the beautiful fall colors that you have chosen to use in this piece. The reds, oranges, yellows look so lush with hints of black all swirling together...just like falling leaves. Those white print leaves are oak! As a young girl, I spent many an hour in my treehouse, which was located in a huge oak tree in Arlington. I love you dearly, and am so very proud of your fabulous work! Mamaw

Nice work, James! I particularly like your background, and how you developed the different shades of greens, then went on to use purples, blues, and pinks for the colors of the sky. The round stamping is a nice contrast to the geometric lines of the tree. Congratulations on lovely work, Honey! Oodles of love, Mamaw
