I love it, Leah! Faces are so hard to draw and you've done a bang-up job! I can't wait to talk to you about how you chose the color you did and why you chose those particular shades to give it depth! Great work!

I love the colors you used, Leah, and I'm happy that your mask isn't really scary. I don't want to have nightmares! This mask looks as if it's yelling, maybe as if it's playing outside and running around the playground with the wind blowing like crazy (kinda like yesterday and today), having a great time being free and having fun!

This is very neat! Is it ceramic or what is it made from?

How I made my face is I drawed sides to make the border. Then we traced faces. Then we made the neck. And then we made the eyes and eyebrows. Then we made the mouth. Then we made a line in the middle of the face to make a nose. Then we made the hair after we made the nose. Then we painted the background, the face, the hair and the neck. Then we designed the border. That's how I made my artwork.

Wonderful work! Did you high-five the other students to make a rainbow? My favorite square is the lower right one. Debes enviarme una copia!

Artist Statement: "First we painted the squares. Then we put our handprints in the squares. And different colors all the time. And I tried my best."
