Miles this is really cool. I’m curious as to how you did the puzzle pieces! Very fun! I like how your art often has a story that goes along with it, or is a key/explanation of elements to a game you are or have played. I like art for arts sake as well- just for practicing certain techniques. That is what the “lighting” bit seems like in this work.
