I am intrigued that you have drawn an actual item. This is like some of the things I did in high school. You did a great job on the wrench details, yet incorporated it into something more expressive by use of the overlap and color shading. It looks like a standard assignment with your special creative "twist".

My first thought when I saw this was tools from a tool box, with the different colors making them tools specializing in different uses. I studied the colors on the rings to make sure they were all individual items. You will have to tell me what was in the mind of the artist.

Emma - love the carousal horse. Neat the way they can show you as the rider. Remember to look ahead so you don't run into the horse in front of you. Your mom always liked to look off to the side at the cows we would drive past.

Emma - I found this to be a scary face but enjoyed all the detail you included in putting it together. I noticed that the person is wearing glasses so at first I thought it might be me, but then I noticed there was no green anywhere in the picture, so it must be someone else. Phew!!! Great job.
