Liam, I love this! I especially love that the red print maple leaves are superimposed over the water under design. What did you use to do the under design? Next time you come up we will collect other leaves and do some ironing them onto paper or make stained glass windows out of leaves between two sheets of waxed paper. Can you think of other projects we could do with fall leaves?

Liam, I love this drawing. especially the blacktop road the truck is running on. It looks like a fire truck, so i am wondering if you got to go on a ride on a firetruck or visit the fire station near you. When you come to our house, we can go down to the fire station her, too, if you would like to and see their trucks and emergency vehicles. Who is with you in this picture? I think it is Mia. Did she get to go?

Liam, this is a great piece of modern art with the guitar theme. For me the colorful pieces surrounding the guitar is sound--sound swirling around the guitar and around our ears when we hear the guitar. Be sure to save this piece if you are able to bring it home. My other favorite piece was the melted crayons. Mamaw

Liam, a very famous artist named VanGogh believed that emotional response could be invoked by just color alone. Everyone thought he was crazy. Now we know he was exactly right. Colors send a message straight to our emotions. Your color block painting would make him proud. It makes me proud too. What does it make you feel to see these colors?

Liam's painting looks like a children's book illustration. In fact, he might consider illustrating a book or a story. In this impression of night in the city with a boy soaring above should inspire a story itself. Is there no boy who doesn't dream of flying like Superman through the night sky while everyone else is asleep. Keep it up, Liam. You have the gift of putting your imagination in paint!
