Esther, your description is very visual and gives us more information about your darling queen tessellation. Contrast is excellent - very easy to discern each part and each of the two queens, even from a distance. The gradient effects add interest to your piece. Additional details as you described could bump up things another level. I'm glad changing the tolerance level enabled you to fill areas as you desired.
