very nice, I can never decide if I like Van Gogh's work but I did just buy a light warmer that you put a frame picture on and I chose Van Gogh's starry night for the picture to go in it. LOL I kept thinking I should tell your mom to get that style warmer for you room with the same frame since you are such the budding artist. I had no idea at the time that you were learning about him and doing this piece in particular :-). They just found out about another work by him that was in a private collection. Have your mom google it so you can see it. it is very nice and he used light colors so it is a very cheery piece. -- cathe

:) Nice work Grace.... reminds me of the scene from Mary Poppins when the chimney sweeps are hopping rooftops. I think because of the buildings- tall & close together & color of sky. It was at night but lots of brilliant blues. (Has she seen that Maryann?) May I request a section for the artist to make comments on their piece? I'd be curious to know what influenced your choices in your interpretation of the original painting. I looked it up to compare, interesting, just wonder what went through that genius mind of yours when deciding what your version would be :) -- Tina
