This facial expression says so much. It lends itself to the quilt-work expressing a wide range of emotions, too. This piece is quite insightful. Great work, Honey. -- Grandma

Whoa ! Looks like there could be some radically crazy fun in THAT house. . . . . seeing thru its 'eye' windows, barred smile, wholey heart. Walking thru the 'voice-box' door stirs up my imagination. Such a concept in this work, William...I love it !! -- Grandma

William ! We've talked about how you achieved this batik effect....interesting...the background color & border sure sets off the pumpkin color. -- Grandma Jeanette

Nice technique for suggesting leaves ! I'm guessing you used sponge. Remember the use of sponges for the future. -- Grandma Jeanette

The subject of field crops is good seasonal subject matter as farmers are beginning their harvests. I interpret the sun as going 'down', as if it were the 'end' of the growing season. (Arts' meaning is up for interpretation by the beholder.) Love the colors and the waterline in the sky appears as dark clouds. Your one point perspective draws my imagination over the hill where it must meet the sun....thank you, William ! I enjoyed this! -- Grandma
